Gratin

We had vegetable gratin for dinner today. Gratin is one of my favorite foods. As my mother hates white sauce, she has never made gratin or cream stew. So I had never had gratin until I was 18. When I had it for the first time at a restaurant, I was really moved! After I got married, I often cook gratin especially in winter.
My sons also love gratin. When I put various vegetables in gratin, my 2-year-old son, who refuses to eat vegetables recently, eats up them. (Today, I put spinach, Chinese cabbage and salmon.)
Only drawback of gratin is that washing dishes is a little troublesome.

I love gratin but I am allergic to milk so can not eat it often.
