Just looking
We shopped in a huge mall. The mall was full of Christmas goods. We enjoyed looking around them, but did not buy one, as there is no place to put them. Whenever I walk into an interior store or variety shop, I feel the necessity of keeping my house clean and tidy. Even if I get nice ornament under the present situation, it would be buried in assorted odds and ends!
Year end is time for general house cleaning. I'll go ahead and cut down the amount of things in my house.

wow!! you have TONS more self control than me!! MY house is an unending maze of little knicknaks and we have containers full of other ones that are not kid safe for when we move back to Canada.
I probably have more Japanese related stuff than Japanese people do. (sigh)
If I live in Canada for a while, I might want to get many Canadian related things, too.
